History and adventure lovers will certainly enjoy visiting The Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Tian'anmen Square. There are hundreds of places to visit and do in this gigantic city. Get ready for some serious mileage when you set on touring Beijing.

Guilin Hotel Deals

Chinese call Guilin "Paradise on Earth". It's not the coolest place I've seen but definitely worth visiting. The Guilin Tour includes Li River Cruise, Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave, Longji Terraced Rice Fields, Yangshuo sightseeing and more. Many options for Guilin Hotel deals too. It's a famous and busy destination in Southern China.

Long past is the time when Chinese Hotels were cheap. Prices are pretty much the same as everywhere else. I'm simply comparing several sources to find the best deal. These might not be as great as you expect but there are several gems popping up occasionally and you have good chances to get a coupon or discount for most popular destinations. Looking at the best booking agents you'll find the perfect balance between the price and quality.

A word about the quality part. I found that star ratings and advertised levels of service are more distorted in China. As long as you are aware of this fact you'll be fine. Don't rush to book, pay good attention to comments and again check these from several sources. As you could guess they are not always honest.

One way to play safe is to join the membership site with active community. People tend to be utterly honest if they know that the service behind it actually values their input. The ones I use usually simply remove hotels that are getting negative comments from their offer.

China Hostel Deals

I haven't used hostels as much as hotels in China. First of all that's just not the way I travel. Second, I was fortunate enough to be sponsored most of the time. Third, the ones I tried in China didn't really fit my quality threshold. I have seen and sampled several hostels in bigger cities across China. These are highly recommended by my friends and satisfy my quality needs.

You have to leverage what are you after. Since you are reading this you probably know what you are looking for. No deals here but the price is low enough though. Lower than in many countries that I have visited. The thing is that you could look into these for private rooms if hotels are expensive for you.
