Find Cheap Flights From Hong Kong
There are many cheap flights from Hong Kong every day, you just need to spot them. Are you are flying to China, Japan, Korea, South Africa, Australia, NZ, UK, USA, UAE, anywhere really? If you read this simple advice, you will always know how to find a cheap flight from Hong Kong. The Cheapest Flights From Hong Kong are usually to be found with a handful of Cheap Air Booking agencies.
Looking at cheesy offers from some of the strongest companies, sneaky tactics to swindle a sale, small prints and additional charges, it's becoming harder to find a descent service. You can save anywhere between $500 and 1000+ on a single flight! If you look for long enough and make the right choice. I'll try to give you some hints where to start. And just be persistent. Don't stop here, make sure you compare and see for yourself what's out there. If you find a better offer I'll be glad to update this page. Afterall, I'm always on a lookout for a deal!
To illustrate take a look at these live rates. I have compared numerous websites for you. You will get an idea what should you pay for these flights. I will not use their names or publish their rates as I don't want to mess with their business. Let's just say that these are big operators.
Filter options set on one person, return, weekdays, 7 days before the flight booking. Return flights are one week later. Economy class, final price, before discount – all included.
The Cheapest Airlines flying from Hong Kong
It's not the airline setting the price when you are buying from booking agents online. The truth is that it's actually cheaper to book from these agencies. In my experience airlines usually charge $100-200 more than agents' cheapest flight. Why? It works vaguely like this: airlines focus on providing service they are supposed to, leaving booking and promotion to travel agencies. To keep them motivated they have this margin. There is a marketplace where the price is set and offered by the airline. Travel agencies get the base, set their own prices and offer it to you. The price heavily depends on the level of competition for that destination, number of bookings they are getting for that flight, and overall trust and loyal customer base for that particular airline. On top of this some of them offer a discount in form of coupons, seasonal sales, special offers, package deals…
Competitive destinations are much cheaper as they are willing to lower their profits to get a piece of that market, etc. etc. etc. You are not here to read about travel industry. The bottom line is that some airlines still have a status of preferred (if they offer better prices to contracted resellers) or simply cheap. When we look at Hong Kong outbound flights on offer now there are a few of these.

Important note:
After some years of flying bimonthly and using both cheap and premium airlines I have learned several lessons. Always check exactly what are you paying for! Pay good attention if taxes, fees and fuel surcharge are included. If not, make sure to check how much will these cost. Some travel agents are playing with the numbers. I was charged hundreds of dollars more several times before I learned! I know this sounds like a common sense, but seriously, how often do you really pay attention? I thought I'm a responsible traveler. Some time back I used dedicated credit card for my travel expense and it hit me hard to realize that I was charged up to 50% more for these.
How about avoiding this kind of problems completely? Or learning how and where to look for a the cheapest travel ever? I found this book some time ago. I haven't learned much as I was already seasoned at majority of what this author is suggesting. But I wish I had this handy years ago… If you feel your air travel expenses are high you might give it a shot – David Tinney's: Rock Bottom Airfares. It sells for $27 but it's well worth it.
Hong Kong based Travel Agents

When booking with a local agent you are likely to get a much better deal. In the matter of fact, many of the big online operators simply resell local deals. If you search for long enough you will start seeing the pattern.
